| 2009 Golf Outing Dear Family and Friends of the
Claddagh Foundation: We are pleased to announce the 13th Annual Claddagh Foundation Golf Outing and Dinner. Over the past twelve years, the Claddagh Foundation has had a tremendous impact on the spinal cord injured community. With your continued support, we hope to continue this important work. This past September. we hosted the Annual 5K Run to Walk
event in Western Springs. The event drew approximately 400 participants and
helped us raise additional funds and spread our mission. In January, the
Claddagh Foundation was proud to again sponsor the 5th Annual Wheelchair
Basketball Tournament at St. Xavier University's Shannon Center. Over 150
athletes from four states competed in this event, which has become one of the
premier competitions for Midwest athletes. As a result of your past efforts
and participation, we have been able to provide critical funding to the Miami
Project to Cure Paralysis, The Spinal Cord Injury Association of Illinois, The
Transverse Myelitis Association, The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's (RIC)
Children's Sports Program, Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association and numerous
other groups and individuals whose work and needs reflect the mission of the
Claddagh Foundation. These contributions were made possible through your
generosity and commitment. For that we thank you! We are hosting our
Annual Golf Outing and Dinner on May 15, 2009 at Silver Lake Country Club.
We would like you to join us for a great day of golf, dinner, entertainment and
auctions. This year we are again offering several business sponsorship
opportunities. We hope some of our partner businesses and organizations can help
us reach our sponsorship goals.
